"Stand Down." - is it an option for today's Christians?
The American culture tells Christians to "stand down" - don't engage. "Christians, go to church, but just don't bring your views into business, politics, arts/media, medicine, schools." For too long, Christians have complied. But America may now have crossed a tipping point. The dominant morals, policies, and practices are now pagan and often anti-Christian. Living at peace according to one's private beliefs is increasingly difficult as individual freedoms are being eliminated. One thing is quite clear: the 21st Century church can no longer do "business as usual." 400 years ago when Europe became corrupt, Christians journeyed to America fleeing persecution and starting anew. In 1620 the Plymouth Company sent the "Pilgrims" who built a new nation here. Today, a new "company" of godly leaders is emerging in communities nationwide to significantly transform every area of culture.
America today is facing five main problem areas that the church must address more effectively: sin & spiritual oppression, ignorance & error, corruption & poverty, injustice & tyranny, disease & division. Progress in addressing each of these will be a true "sign" of success in Jesus' command to disciple nations (Mt 28; Mk 16).
Christians must respond correctly to these problems. Since the beginning of Christianity, prayer and revival have never fully transformed a nation. Lasting change occurs when a deliberate strategy is also implemented to raise up Christian leaders for the most influential institutions or "mountains" of culture.
400 years ago a small group of people came to the New World with such a strategy. They saw the Old World of Europe falling away after earlier saints had transformed it more than any other place in the world. Sensing a new opportunity to rebuild a Christian civilization in America, they formed the Virginia Company and later the Plymouth Company. They gave birth to the first English colonies in what became the United States. Watch brief video below to learn about keys to their strategy:
These companies used fundamental biblical principles to shape and influence seven important spheres of culture: Church, Family, Business, Government, Education, Medicine, and Media/Arts. By training leaders and equipping citizens in these Biblical principles, they laid the foundations of a godly civilization such as the world had never seen. Their strategy eventually had a great impact on many other nations around the world.
But the seeds they planted in America are no longer producing fruit. The modern American church is losing the cultural battle and will never turn America around if it stays on its present course. However the good news is that people are returning to the historic comprehensive strategy of the Great Commission of Christ to go and "make disciples of nations." This is the mission of The America Transformation Company!

America Transformation Company has developed a deep Scriptural basis for the big mission of “making disciples of the nations” (Matt 28) We emphasize through in-depth teaching the core purpose, principles and best-practices that transform culure.
Using a coaching style methodology, we maintain contact with leaders, helping them unite as a team with a long-term strategic plan that truly will transform their city. With 25 years of experience in over 40 countries, ATC has found from experience that when people develop a long-term plan and unify to work as a team on those goals, then nations have really seen major impact. It may not show up in the next election, but it shows up within several years and certainly in the next generation.
We developed materials in print & video. These transformation tools are available as well as self-assessment tools to help leaders discover where they need to grow and improve.
